Detoxification Services

Rogers Memorial Hospital provides individuals with a safe, comfortable transition through the withdrawal process. Addictionologists, physicians who specialize in addiction medicine, oversee the safe medical detoxification of all patients. Registered nurses provide care, using techniques aimed at reducing the discomfort of withdrawal, which include: the administration of medications to counteract the uncomfortable symptoms, evaluation of any other medical problems the patient has, and assessment of ongoing needs of the patient. Individuals unique needs and situations impact their length of stay.
