Frequently Asked Questions
Treatment Program
The Herrington Recovery Center provides education, support and
therapy in a home-like setting to assist residents as they develop
personal, family and career lifestyles free of addictions. The program utilizes the components of 12-step programs as a basis
for treatment.
Through individual and group sessions as well
as family education, residents confront their defense mechanisms
and identify strengths and weaknesses in order to understand their
illness and the solutions to begin their recovery process.
A unique five-day evaluation also is available
for professionals who interface with licensing boards and other
regulatory agencies. To answer concerns that may be raised by
employers, licensing boards or family members, a comprehensive
diagnosis and treatment recommendations are provided.
