my son smile was the best payoff I could get.” Quick Links: The child and adolescent inpatient care program of Rogers Memorial Hospital offers separate and distinct stabilization programs designed to meet the individual needs of children and adolescents. The program treats a variety of mental health disorders, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), behavioral disorders, chemical dependency, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, abuse and trauma. The child and adolescent inpatient program treats children who are in emotional crisis and those who are in danger of harming themselves or others. Common indicators include:
Treatment Program Patients meet with staff members to form an individualized treatment plan. Individual, family and education issues are considered to prepare daily treatment goals. Treatment may consist of several types of therapy. Sample Schedule Psychiatrist and case management sessions are performed throughout the day. Communication and Aftercare Extensive effort is made to provide and host treatment update meetings with families, schools and community support agencies that may be involved with a child and the family. The meetings provide diagnostic reviews, outpatient treatment recommendations and multi-system coordination vital to maintain stability after discharge.
