2008 Golf Outing Results

Golfers Raise $72,000 for Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation

A sell-out crowd of 144 golfers teed off at Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation’s 13th Annual Golf Outing at Bristlecone Pines Golf Club on Monday, July 14th, 2008.

“It was a tremendous day and we are so thankful for the amazing turnout for the event and for the generosity of everyone involved,” says Marion Heinz, Executive Director of the Rogers Memorial Foundation.

The Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation raised a record breaking $72,000 for Rogers’ patients and treatment programs; $14,500 earmarked for patient care scholarships for Rogers Memorial Hospital’s residential treatment center for children from ages 8 to 13.

The event drew golfers from around the country including those from Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Indiana. John Treiber, Crain Bliwas, Maggie Bliwas, and Mike Straub made up the foursome that took first place at the event.

Golf outing co-chairs Rick Andritsch and Jason Dvorak will team up again for the 14th Annual Golf Outing planned for Bristlecone Pines on July 13th, 2009.

All proceeds from the Foundation's special events support the various initiatives of the Foundation, including: patient continuation scholarships, the Angel Fund, the Spiritual Care Program, Challenge Camp, Hospital Capital Initiatives, the Endowment, and the Oconomowoc Campus Gardens.
