Residential Treatment

Residential Treatment:

Rogers is a comprehensive psychiatric hospital, nationally recognized for specialty residential treatment programs for eating disorders, addiction, obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety disorders for children, teens and adults.

Herrington McBride Alumni Association

Research has shown that one of the most important factors in sustaining recovery after treatment for alcoholism or drug dependency is a responsive support network. The Herrington-McBride Alumni Association is a thriving community of people in recovery who are committed to helping their peers sustain recovery.

Members of the Herrington McBride Alumni Association play an active role with individuals currently in treatment at the Herrington Recovery Center. Alumni members lead weekly ‘rap’ sessions, where they share their personal story of achieving recovery, and host quarterly pizza parties for the center’s current patients. They also lead 12-Step meetings at Rogers Memorial Hospital and strive to build connections with every adult who successfully completes addiction treatment at the hospital.

The alumni association hosts two annual events – a reunion picnic in June and a retreat in January. These two events are organized by alumni members and are intended to provide confirmation that life without addiction is not only a possibility, but is a choice that brings positive change.

The Herrington-McBride Alumni Association also publishes a quarterly newsletter which contains news of upcoming retreats and educational events as well as inspirational articles written by alumni members.
