Rogers Memorial Hospital Announces Addition of Medical College
of Wisconsin Staff
Rogers Memorial Hospital (RMH) continues its mission in providing
exemplary, individualized, behavioral health care services with
expansion of services to include Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW)
psychiatric staff at Rogers Memorial's 11101 W. Lincoln Avenue location.
"This is a remarkable opportunity for the Hospital to contract
for and receive expert direction from this team of psychiatrists
affiliated with the Medical College," said David L. Moulthroup,
Ph.D., CEO and president of Rogers Memorial.
Rogers Memorial has named Harold Harsch, M.D. as Medical Director
of the Medical College of Wisconsin's psychiatric services at RMH-Milwaukee.
David Bresenhan, M.D. and Pamela Wolfe, M.D., assistant clinical
professors of psychiatry and behavioral medicine at the Medical
College of Wisconsin, have also joined the medical staff at RMH'S
Milwaukee campus.
With the additional Medical College staff, psychiatrists will coordinate
Rogers Memorial's expanded services in medical/psychiatric care,
clinical trials and psychiatric education.
Under the new agreement, an inpatient psychiatric teaching center
will be developed at RMH-Milwaukee. Medical College psychiatrists
will work with the Clinical Trials Program at Rogers Memorial to
develop and implement inpatient and outpatient clinical trial programs.
As the hospital continues to expand and provide additional programs
and treatment options, the Medical College team will further develop
the range of medical and psychiatric services available on the adult
and older adults units.
Moulthrop said, "It's very exciting to work jointly with the
Medical College. We welcome the opportunity to explore this and
other potential collaborative efforts that have been made available
as a direct result of opening the Milwaukee facility. "With
the addition of key physician leadership to our organization, we
are pleased to further the behavioral health care resources available
in Milwaukee."
All three doctors are on-site at Rogers Memorial Hospital's Milwaukee
campus part-time, and are available to treat adult and older adult
patients in the inpatient setting. Please call Rogers Memorial Hospital's
admissions department at 1-800-767-4411 to make a referral or for
