Residential OCD Program
The obsessive-compulsive disorder residential program offers treatment
for adults and adolescents.
Treatment goals are accomplished through a program consisting of
individual and group psychotherapy and medication. A strict cognitive
behavioral therapy (exposure and ritual prevention) approach is
used by the program's experienced staff. In addition to the use
of exposure and ritual prevention, and according to the goals and
objectives of each patient's individualized treatment plan, a resident
may participate in the following treatment components:
- Cognitive
restructuring training
- Problem-solving
skills training
- Daily
living skills training
- Recreational
therapy
- Family
therapy
- Social
skills training
- Vocational
assistance/advocacy
- Patient
and family education
