Education:

Orvin Fillman received both his doctorate and master's degree in public health from Loma Linda University in California. He is also a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he received his master's in health administration with an emphasis on financial management.

Experience / Areas of Expertise:

With nearly 20 years of executive leadership experience, Orvin Fillman serves as the principle site administrator for Rogers’ West Allis campus. Fillman has a passion for quality care that achieves high patient and family satisfaction. His research has contributed to the body of knowledge for mental health science and his topics of interest have related to cost-quality relationships. He is proud of the fact that indicators of quality at Rogers are markedly better than national benchmarks.

Prior to joining the leadership staff at Rogers, he served as the regional vice president of behavioral medicine for the affiliated St. Helena Hospitals in California. Psychiatric hospital administration is his specialty and he has been responsible for business start-ups, case management services, and provider network operations for children and youth with serious mental health concerns.

Professional Associations:

Orvin Fillman is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He has been an invited presenter to national conferences on the use of advanced statistical models that help determine patient outcome trends earlier that traditional statistical methods.
