Our partial hospitalization program for pre-teens, teenagers, and young adults is tailored to address the social, emotional and medical issues surrounding anorexia, bulimia and other eating disorders.

Treatment is led by a full-time board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist who specializes in eating disorders and is an active member of the Academy for Eating Disorders. The program meets weekday afternoons, offers a supervised lunch and dinner, and provides support, education, nutritional and medical monitoring and accountability.

This program uses a family-centered approach involving weekly family therapy sessions, as well as group family sessions. These sessions aim at promoting honest and open communication among family members, while educating the family on eating disorders.

Our goal is to help patients and families understand the illness and develop a set of effective skills which will help them sustain recovery throughout their lives.
