Services Provided: 

Hemalatha Rajanna, MD, is a board certified adult psychiatrist and currently serves as a staff psychiatrist at Rogers Memorial Hospital-West Allis, working primarily with adults in the inpatient and partial hospital programs.

A graduate of the Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences in India, Dr. Rajanna completed her residency in psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin and Affiliated Hospitals in Milwaukee. She specializes in treating major psychiatric illness, including psychotic disorders.

Dr. Rajanna is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association and the Wisconsin Psychiatric Association. She has delivered many professional presentations in the United States and the United Kingdom on a variety of topics, including one on stigma and mental health education for the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Her clinical interests include women’s mental health and addiction treatment.

Prior to joining the team at Rogers, she served as a staff psychiatrist in the Women’s Treatment Unit at the Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Division. She has also helped to teach medical students and paramedical professionals.
