Paula R. Young, PhD, ACT

Senior Clinical Director, Psychologist

Paula R. Young, PhD, ACT, is a licensed clinical psychologist and senior clinical director for the Central Service Area who directs the clinicians in the adolescent and adult Focus depression recovery, eating disorders, and OCD and anxiety partial hospitalization care at Rogers Behavioral Health in Skokie, Hinsdale, Nashville, and Denver. She received her Doctor of Philosophy degree in psychology from Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School.

Dr. Young has an extensive clinical, teaching and research experience in the areas of depression and anxiety disorders. She has presented to numerous clinical and academic audiences across the country. In addition to being a diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy, Dr. Young is an active member of the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, and the International OCD Foundation. Dr. Young is also listed on the National Register of Health Service Psychologists.
