The goal of FOCUS is to pinpoint a diagnosis with a comprehensive assessment through a psychiatric evaluation that includes your history, diagnosis and previous treatment recommendations. Once determined, Rogers’ clinical team will develop an individualized plan to address your unique symptoms and challenges. This targeted treatment plan is directed by a board-certified psychiatrist and supported by our multidisciplinary team which includes:
- Licensed clinical psychologist
- Registered nurses
- Social worker
- Behavioral specialists
- Experiential therapists
- Certified substance abuse counselor
- Residential counselors
- Care advocates
At every step, 24 hours a day, Rogers’ staff are available for help when it’s needed. One of the many benefits of a residential program focused on you and a life worth living.
Meet the Manager: Josh Tackes
Josh Tackes is the manager of FOCUS, and is responsible for oversight of its daily operations. He coordinates with the clinical staff to make sure that each resident receives care that is rooted in evidence-based practices, responsive to their individual needs and respectful of their values.
Josh has been with Rogers since 2003 in several clinical positions, most recently working as a licensed professional counselor in the OCD partial hospitalization program. He acknowledges that early adulthood can be a time of difficult transitions and that the FOCUS team is dedicated to finding ways to make these transitions successful.
“One of the greatest rewards is witnessing our residents and treatment team work together. As trust is built and treatment progresses our residents make real and meaningful changes in their lives, allowing them to become functional, healthy and fulfilled individuals.”
