Azhar M. Yunus, MD, is a board certified psychiatrist specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry. He sees children from age 4 and older, and adolescents up to 18 years old. His practice addresses wide-ranging issues including: anxiety and mood disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity, autism spectrum and psychotic disorders.
Dr. Yunus completed his residency in psychiatry and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry from The University of Wisconsin Hospital & Clinics in Madison, WI, and was awarded an Outstanding Psychiatry Resident Award from the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI.
Dr. Yunus is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at The Medical College of Wisconsin and is also on the medical staff at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He is a member of the Wisconsin Medical Society.
