Azhar M. Yunus, MD, serves as medical director of the residential Adolescent Recovery Program and outpatient services for children and adolescent outpatient services at Rogers’ West Allis and Kenosha locations. He is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Addiction Medicine.
Dr. Yunus completed his residency in psychiatry and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, where he served as chief resident. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. Yunus has been a member of Rogers’ medical staff since 2008.
In addition to his leadership role with Rogers, Dr. Yunus is an assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at The Medical College of Wisconsin. He is a member of the Wisconsin Medical Society, the American Psychiatric Association and the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
